This morning we discussed the letter Naomi Judd wrote to the Tennessean voicing her disappointment about the 2013 CMT Video Awards barely mentioning the passing of George Jones. I said that it might be because the awards show is geared toward a younger crowd because it awards everything video. Jon mentioned that George actually made a few videos including one that was AWESOME that starred an older man working at a gas station. It's the video for 'Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes'. George Jones was laid to rest today, after a huge outpouring of support from friends, family, and fans in Nashville at the Grand Ole Opry House. I found myself glued to the TV watching the huge number of friends that spoke and sang about Jones. One performance really captured the admiration of the country legend.
