'Sixty for Sixty' Campaign for George Strait Falls Short

George Strait turns 61 years old TODAY! The "Sixty for Sixty" campaign to get George his 60th #1 single while he was still 60 years old didn't quite make it, "Give It All We Got Tonight" has only made it to #10. But, that's OK, there is no one like George Strait and there quite possibly never will be. Several, I mean tons, of artists made videos to try and urge fans to buy the single. It is very touching. Watch them give love and admiration to the king of country music.

This morning, country legend, George Jones passed away at the age of 81. After hearing the news, Jon and I reacted with a tribute to George with an additional hour of his music, requested by you. While waiting for stain to dry today, I turned on the TV and found a St Patrick's Day movie on SyFy. Kinda. It was the movie Leprechaun which is about a crazy, flesh eating little leprechaun that is trying to find his gold. What I found intriguing about the movie was not the plot but the leading lady - a young Jennifer Aniston. I wasn't sure at first because her nose looked a lot different. LOL

Luke Bryan just released a new LP 'Spring Break...Here to Party.' It contains two new songs - the party starting 'Just a Sip' and the party ender 'Buzzkill.' Both songs are GREAT!!! He recently visited his good buddy, Ellen Degeneres and gave a super hot performance that was anything BUT a buzzkill. In fact, I was buzzing when it was over! ;-)
