When jackpots get this high, people tend to spend much more than they normally would because they think more tickets equals better chance, not true...the odds stay the same. Lustig says don't spend more than you can afford to lose.

Do your homework. Go online and make sure the set or sets of numbers you are playing have not come up before.
Stick to your strategy. You have to learn what number to play and how often to play.
