A note from the director:

A lot of people have been asking on Facebook and at the box office if this show is appropriate for children. My answer as the director is this, as with any performance, movie, television program, book, music recording or other media it is a decision a parent must make based on the maturity level of their child and what they want them exposed to. I always suggest doing some research before sending your kids to see something.
This show was created in 1959. At that time censorship was the norm and moral standards were high. That being said it tells the story of a woman so obsessed with making stars of her daughters she **SPOILER ALERT** pushes one into running away and forces one into becoming a burlesque dancer, the highest paid and classiest of all time, but a stripper none the less. There is some strong language used sparingly. I believe our production handles the last 15 minutes of the show when they enter the world of burlesque with taste, without short changing the sleaze this real life woman put her family through. If you are interested in exposing your children to one of the best shows musical theatre has to offer - rich with hummable songs and complex characters - then please bring them.

Tickets are still available for all 'Gypsy' performances but tickets are selling fast and some performances may soon be "sell-outs". Tickets will be available at the door subject to availability. Box office hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from noon-5 pm and Thursday 2 pm-7 pm. To get tickets and see the rest of the scheduled shows for the Broadway Players, click here! :-)
