The city of Boonville is under a state of emergency for the next 8 hours. Travel in Boonville should be limited to essential travel only. Officials are calling the damage in Boonville "massive" and many streets are unsafe to travel.

The storms that rolled through the tristate last night has left some homes still without power and others assessing damage this morning.

The storms hit the north side of Evansville late yesterday afternoon leaving a path of property damage and downed power lines. While damage was scattered in Evansville, in Boonville the damage was significant..
