Blake Shelton, Pistol Annies + More to Perform at 2011 American Country Awards
The 2011 American Country Awards on Fox is quickly becoming another must watch live television broadcast. Top country talents like Blake Shelton, Pistol Annies and Trace Adkins are on the early list of performers. With over a month to go before the Dec. 5 ceremony, more names are sure to be announced.
Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina and Miranda Lambert are scheduled to appear during the show. A recent press release also states that Thompson Square, Kristin Chenoweth, the Eli Young Band and the Band Perry will all take the stage to perform. Chenoweth will join Adkins to host the award show.
Fan voting for the individual categories is open until Nov. 11 at TheACAs.com. Voting for the Artist of the Year category will remain open until Dec 2, however.The ACAs honor traditional categories but also give blue Fender guitars to winners of business related awards, including top touring artist.
Non-country celebrities scheduled to appear include Kelly Clarkson, actress Rachel Bilson and the men of the reality TV series ‘Pawn Stars.’
