I have been at WKDQ for 13 years and have loved every minute of it. My career started in Southern California and I arrived in Evansville in 1994. I have three children that keep me very busy and the rare opportunity to go out and not have a six foot mouse serving your table is a rare and welcome treat. I love motorcycles and classic country and even host the WKDQ Country Classics show every Saturday from 6-10am. If I can I can ever play a song for you, let me know at wkdq.com.

Infomercial Acting Is Bad, Reallly Bad – Watch How Bad In Infomercial Compilation Video
Infomercials are by far the worst things on television today. The acting is so bad and kinda makes all of us look like bumbling fools using everyday household products that actually work much better than portrayed in the infomercial. They also try and convince you that life as you know it, will stop dead if you don't buy this new product.
Guys Turning a Trash Can Into a Cannon Is the Dumbest, But Funniest Video This Year
Whatever motivated a group of men in Poland to make a cannon out of a trash can is anybody's guess. These guys are clearly a bunch of idiots, but the result of their endeavor is not only the stupidest thing you will ever see, but maybe one of the funniest because of the stupidity involved.
Jon Discusses the First Time He Actually Felt Old
At what point in your life did you ever feel truly old for the first time? There is a big difference between getting and feeling older and actually feeling old. Below, I discuss the first thing to make me feel old. See if you can relate.
Today Is Earth Day – Do You Remeber the Litterbug Song?
This morning on the show, Leslie and I were talking about today being Earth Day and I asked her if she remembered the Litterbug song...she did not. I remember hearing the song in elementary school and it's one of those tunes that just sticks with you, but I haven't heard it in years.
Watch ‘One Decision’ – A Child Safety Film That Will Bring You to Your Knees
Warmer weather is coming and with that, a reminder about how traumatic and deadly vehicular heatstroke can be. In other words, leaving your child in a hot car. I was reminded of this the other day day when I rolled up on a situation in a parking lot involving a parent who left a child in a car and the bystanders who were going toe to toe with that parent.
American Red Cross Dine Out Fundraiser Is Wednesday April 23rd
The annual Red Cross Heroes campaign is in full swing with hopes of raising $200,000 this year. One of the big events in that campaign is the DIne Out event, which is this Wednesday April 23rd at area restaurants. Participating restaurants will donate a portion of the day's proceeds back to the Red Cross...
Dad Has Epic Argument With Baby That Will Make Your Day
One thing about kids, they will stick to their guns and stand firm on whatever they are telling you. My son and I had an exchange last night about some homework he said he "lost". As flawed as his argument was, he never broke from his story and stuck to it like glue on a hair piece.
Jon’s Two Cents – College Basketball’s One and Done Syndrome Is Bad for the Game
All eyes were on Duke University's freshman phenom Jabari Parker over the last few days to see if he would return to Blue Devils for his sophomore season or enter the NBA draft. Well, the drama is over and far, far from a surprise....Parker is going to the NBA...I know, it may be hard to wipe the look of shock off your face.
Watch an Amazing Trick Involving Four Girls and Four Chairs
We are constantly looking for cool things to put up on the website and every once in a while, you find something that you just have to post because it is that cool. This video falls into that category. I have never seen this trick, but it's amazing.
Springtime Means Cookouts, Holiday World and Grandma On a Roller Coaster
One of my favorite parts of this time of year is getting out the grill and some outdoor cooking. It is also the time of year my boys ask when we are going to Holiday World...they love Roller Coasters and always ask me if I will ride with them...well, heck yeah!!!
Would You Take Your Personal Problems or Issues to National Television?
Yesterday, I was waiting for my son to get home from school and happen to tune in to the Dr. Phil Show, which I have done a couple of times over the last couple of weeks. While I would not put Dr. Phil in the same class as Maury Povich or Jerry Springer, I am astounded at how much dysfunction people are willing to share on national TV and I'm wondering, why?
Killer Whale Shows Could be Going Away at Sea World
Imagine a world, Sea World actually, without Shamu The Killer Whale. If one California lawmaker has his way, killer whale shows would end at Sea World in San Diego. A bill being introduced in the California State Assembly, bill AB2140, could prohibit Sea World from keeping killer whales in captivity.
