- by Sharon Shumate
The American Advertising Federation of Greater Evansville (AAF-GE) is hosting Ken Segall, author and former creative director of Apple to address members and guests at its January luncheon held at Tropicana Conference Center on Wednesday, January 21, 2015.
The topic of the presentation is “Simplicity is the Most Powerful Weapon in Advertising”. Having worked closely with Steve Jobs for 12 years, Segall will share a mix of insights and stories from inside Steve Jobs’ world.
Segall led the team that created Apple’s famous Think Different campaign that sent the company down the “i-road” by naming the iMac. He will share how Apple succeeded through the power of simplicity, and how any marketer can do the same. Segall is the author of the New York Times Best Seller Insanely Simple: The Obsession that Drives Apple’s Success.
The luncheon will be held in the Walnut Rooms of Tropicana Convention Center at 421 NW Riverside Drive on Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Doors open for networking at 11:30 with lunch and the presentation beginning promptly at noon. AAF-GE members are FREE, guests/nonmembers only $15 per person.
