When you mow your grass, do you blow your grass clippings into the roadway? If so, you could be contributing too a very dangerous situation for motorcyclists and cyclists and you could be fined. But, it it against the law?

Like the state of Georgia, the answer in most states appears to be yes AND no. In a few states there are laws against blowing your grass clippings onto the roadway, but most states let the cities and county determine and fines. You could, however, open yourself up to possible litigation if your actions are proven too have caused a cyclist cause injury or death.

SO, even though there might not be definite laws regarding grass clippings on the roadway, you should clean up your grass clippings, if they blow onto the road, or better yet, blow your clippings in the direction away from the road to help cyclists stay safe.
