February 14, 2012 2:30 PM Happy Valentine’s Day! How many times has someone told you that today? Now, I’m happily married, but I know there’s a lot of folks that despise this day. They don’t have anyone to be their Valentine, nor do they want one. Well these videos of anti-Valentine’s Day Country Songs are for you!
1. Brad Paisley – I’m Gonna Miss Her
What better way to show your loved one how much she means to you, than to choose fish over her. Making a choice like that is a sure fire way to see fit that you never have to buy her candy and chocolates again!
2. Miranda Lambert – White Liar
Build a relationship on trust and love and it’s bound to succeed. Base it on lies and deceit, and well, you get the song from Miranda Lambert called, “White Liar.” The video just brings this one home. It’s a good way to ruin any lovie-dovie couple’s Valentine’s Day, and make you smile, because you don’t have to deal with it!
3. Toby Keith – How Do You Like Me Now
Some people don’t like Valentine’s Day and never have. Some don’t like it, because of that one person…that one that crushed your dreams…that one that turned you down and ruined your self-esteem. Isn’t it great when you reach that point where you can turn to them and say…”How Do You Like Me Now!”
4. Taylor Swift – Picture To Burn
It’s an age old tradition. While many couples are out celebrating with candle-lit dinners, there’s another crowd that is burning something as well. It seems to be a pretty good healing method to set ablaze something that belongs to an ex-wrongdoer, or even better something with their image, as Taylor Swift does in the following video.
5. Jack Ingram – Love You
Why is it that it is so hard to say pretty words like “I Love You,” yet really easy to let the expletives fly when somebody does us wrong? To male things easier on you, this Valentine’s Day, just do what Jack Ingram does and tell everyone “Love You” in your own special way!
