The Alcoa plant in Warrick County is looking for hard working women and men to fill positions as they prepare to re-open three of the five aluminum smelters that were shut down in 2016 later this summer.

The company is looking for applicants with a "high school diploma or GED," who is willing and able "to work rotating shifts and continuous schedules as required," and "must be able to perform physically demanding work activities under high temperature conditions." At least 1 year of full time work experience with one previous employer is also required. Applicants who make it past the initial interviews must also "successfully pass a skills aptitude and job fit evaluation test."

Previous work experience in Industrial, Manufacturing, Construction, or an Agriculture environment is preferred, but not required.
