There's a little something for everyone in this new holiday album featuring everyone's favorite Louisiana redneck family, the Robertsons from A&E's Duck Dynasty, possibly the most popular reality show in TV history. Also included in the Christmas fun is a roundup of country stars such as George Strait, Alison Krauss, and Josh Turner.

There are plenty of hilarious originals such as "Hairy Christmas," in which Willie sings alongside Luke Bryan about beards and blowing up Christmas trees, but there are also genuinely sweet performances of classic carols by the Robertson children that remind you why this family is so broadly appealing and loveable. Missy Robertson also contributes some beautiful vocals in several of the tracks. And the title track, "Duck the Halls," is naturally performed using duck calls.

Perhaps the best performer on the album is the ever-quotable and eccentric Uncle Si, who seems to believe that one of Santa's reindeer is named Britney. His redneck rendition of "The Night Before Christmas" will make you and everyone around you listening laugh out loud.

If your family watches the show together or generally has a sense of humor in regard to Christmas music, there's no reason why you shouldn't add this album to your collection and play it every year. Unlike other Christmas albums, you are guaranteed to never get tired of hearing it. It would also make a perfect gift for any special Duck Dynasty fans in your life.

There seems to be an unwritten rule about not listening to Christmas music before Thanksgiving, but if you need a laugh today, you might want to break it just this once and listen to some track samples. It's worth it.
