The Academy of Country Music has released their nominees for the 2011 ACM Awards.  The show will air on CBS live from Las Vegas on Sunday, April 3rd.  Miranda Lambert leads all nominees with 7 nominations including the big one, the fan-voted Entertainer of the Year.  This is the first nomination in this category for Lambert.  Kenny Chesney picked up 5 nominations which doesn't include his previously-won Entertainer of the Year, due to his year off of touring.  Although, Miranda was leader as an artist, Zac Brown's many talents have garnered technically 9 nominations.  The Zac Brown Band picked up 5 themselves, while Zac as a producer and songwriter added an additional 4 nominations.

Other Notable stars include The Band Perry and Taylor Swift with four nominations each.  Also, the guy that I've preached was long overdue for some major awards...or at least some nominations, Jason Aldean finally slides into not only the Male Vocalist category, but also the Entertainer of the Year.  Since this is a fan-voted category, he's got my vote.
