A Wheelchair For Dogs – Yes, Really And It’s Cool [Video]

A wheelchair for dogs sounds like a novel and cute idea, but do they exist? The answer is yes. There are wheeled contraptions available to give mobility to handicapped pets, but until now, nothing like the 'Amigo', a new wheelchair from industrial designer by Nir Shalom. 

Shalom did extensive research on the physiology of dogs and created a harness device that specifically contours to the dog's body. In the video, Shalom borrowed a friend's dog, Amy and as you can see, Amy has no trouble adapting to the device, not to mention creating a very cute video. The device is not yet available in stores, but will be soon. Enjoy.
