Thursday May 5th is "National Day of Prayer" and Evansville area pastors and leaders are putting together a Flash Mob/ Rally at the Civic Center

According to an event created on Facebook, Flash mobs will begin at noon and take every hour until 7pm when the rally starts. They are also asking everyone to wear a white shirt as a sign of unity.

"Here's how the day will play out-
-Beginning at noon then each hour after that (1:00, 2:00, 3:00 etc until the Rally @ 7:00 p.m.) we will have a "Flash Mob" prayer in the back courtyard of the Civic Center to meet togther to pray for 15 minutes.

-Everyone wear a white shirt as a sign of unity!
-At 7:00 p.m. we will meet at the same location for the Rally!
We will say the Declaration of Unity ( see words below)
We will sing the day's theme song ( see words below)
AND WE WILL PRAY!

May 5th will begin a corporate fast that will last until the next United Concert of Prayer on Pentecost Sunday, May 15th @ Gethsemene Church. We are asking everyone to fast at least one meal a day."
