The pumpkin spice craze has been running wild for almost two months now, but all good (debatable) things must come to an end. This is my farewell to pumpkin spice.

Basic girls everywhere will be morning the loss of their favorite latte at Starbucks, Stores nation wide will be pulling pumpkin spice items off of the shelf, and I will be beyond happy to see these things go! This pumpkin spice trend seems to get worse and worse every year. I mean they made pumpkin spice gum, for crying out loud!

We didn't even get the worst of it here in the United States. McDonald's in Japan made pumpkin spice fries! Needless to say, I am in the minority when it comes to the pumpkin spice craze. I just don't get it. Thankfully, after Thanksgiving, we will no longer be seeing them. I can't say "no longer" because I am sure some things will stick around until the end of the year, but the weird flavors like the Pumpkin Spice Cheerios will probably be going bye bye.

Having said that, when one trend fades away, another one takes its place. So, farewell pumpkin spice and welcome back peppermint flavors! This is a trend that I can get behind. Peppermint M&M's, hot chocolate, mochas, and other things that are way better than pumpkin spice!
