Communities, businesses, and law enforcement in Evansville are coming together to celebrate the 33rd National Night Out on Tuesday August 2nd.

The Event will take place at Wesselman's Park on Tuesday August 2nd from 6-8:30pm. The event is designed to generate support for and participation in local anti-crime efforts, strengthen neighborhood and police partnerships, and send a message to criminals that the community is fighting back!

At the event there will be free food, refreshments, and activities. There will also be educational booths set-up to provide information to combat crime.

Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke will also be hosting a kick-off breakfast on Monday August 1st at Wesselman's Shelter #1 at 9am. He will read a proclamation in regards to National Night Out!
