It's not often you get to see the faces behind some of your favorite songs. Sure, you see the people who are known for singing those great songs, but often times there are others behind the scenes who have either written, or helped write, those songs. It's those individuals who will be front and center, not only performing those songs, but sharing the stories behind them during the annual Sandy Lee Watkins Songwriters Festival coming up July 25th through 28th in Henderson.

The goal of this year's Festival is to raise $20,000 which will in turn be donated to a number of different non-profit organizations in Henderson including The Gathering Place – Henderson County Senior Center, Father Bradley Women & Children Shelter, Audubon Area Senior Companion Program, Good News Jail Ministry, Henderson Area Arts Alliance, and Kyndle Foundation Fund for Imagination Library.

For more information, and to purchase advance tickets, including single-session tickets, all-access passes, and VIP passes in advance, visit the Sandy Lee Watkins Songwriters Festival website.
