Newburgh, IN, has a LOT going on in 2015 from wine and music to fresh veggies and ghosts, you'll need to mark your calendars today!

Grapes on the Grass Soiree is the Friday night, May 15 the evening before the Wine Art & Jazz Festival.  Guests have an opportunity to taste favorite foods from local restaurants, view Newburgh art and judge the wines that will be available on Saturday.  It’s a beautiful evening on the banks of the Ohio River at the Old Lock & Dam Park. Tickets are $50.00 each, and are available at Historic Newburgh, Inc. at 517 North Main Street, Newburgh.

Historic Newburgh Wine, Art & Jazz Festival presented by Evansville Living Magazine:  Saturday May 16th, Noon – 9pm there is non-stop jazz, great food and an opportunity, to browse and buy local art.  All of this is overlooking the beautiful Ohio River at the Old Lock & Dam Park. Historic Newburgh Farmers Market is every Saturday, morning Memorial Day weekend - September.  Our farm market is more of happening than just a market.  Not only do we have fresh local vegetables, we have grass fed beef and pork.  There are artists, plants, flowers, & honey.  Many Saturdays, we will have music to complete the festival atmosphere. Fireworks Rally is Saturday June 6th, at noon at Bell Oaks Schnucks.  The buttons and t-shirts are on sale, and it’s a party to kick off our Newburgh Celebrates Independence.  Free

Heritage Federal Credit Union 2015 Fireworks and Evening in the Park is July 3th with rain date set for July 6th.  At 5 pm the streets close and the games begin.  It is an old fashion summer social with food, games and music. What makes it special is the location at the Old Lock and Dam Park which is on the banks of the Ohio River. The Fireworks begin at 9 pm. Free

Historic Newburgh Theatre Series presents always funny and intriguing community theatre Oct 2, 3 and 4th which is the first weekend in October. Purchase your ticket in advance at Historic Newburgh, Inc. by calling 812-853-2815. $15 per ticket

Ghost Walks is October 16, 17, 18. It is an interesting walk through the streets of Downtown Newburgh.  The tour guides, share some of the spookier legends of Newburgh’s history.  Learn about the Civil War, Underground Railroad; as well as river lore.  You will meet some of ghosts of the townspeople as they share stories from the past.  This event cost $5-$9.

Old Newburgh presents Ghostly Stroll Walking Parade. Trick or Treat through the Downtown Newburgh stores, Oct 31, 3-5.  At 4pm the streets will close and The Walking Parade through town will begin.  Kids of all ages are encouraged to come in costume and participate in the costume contests and other fun planned.  All willing pets are welcome!  This is sponsored by many of the  Downtown Merchants. Historic Newburgh Celebrates Christmas is Dec 5th and 6th which is the first full weekend in December.  You feel like you are participating in a free form street musical!  We have people in period costumes recreating Newburgh in the 1880s.  There are musicians, carolers, and chestnuts roasting on an open fire.  There will be Trolley Tours, Find the Elf Contest, and Photos with Santa.  The Historic Newburgh Museum will be open with it’s special Christmas Exhibit.  Free

Saturday November 7th Winery Tour.  We take a coach bus full of wine lovers to 3 or 4 wineries ending
