Country music’s hottest stars walked the red carpet at the 2013 Grammy Awards, and while most shined, a few failed to impress on music’s biggest night. Pictures of the worst dressed country stars from the 2013 Grammys don’t quite compare to the worst dressed from the pop world — did you see the moon man? — but these three outfits were still less than flattering.

Miranda Lambert‘s solid, sleeveless gown doesn’t do her justice, nor does her blonde swoop of a hairdo. Both are understated on music’s biggest fashion night. This singer is at her best when she’s more daring with her style and her music. We preferred her Grammys performance outfit much more than this L.A. dud.

Hunter Hayes was rocking the sneakers once again at the 2013 Grammys. We’ll be the first to admit that we praised this splash of casual in 2012, but one year later, the look feels as tired as reruns of ‘Hee-Haw.’ The ‘Wanted’ singer has a Gold record now and needs to introduce his feet to Kenneth Cole.

Faith Hill just looked tense at the Grammys. The country superstar showed off her braces at the 2012 CMA Awards, but instead of owning the mouth hardware, she perpetually tried to hide them in pictures from the 2013 Grammys. The embellishments on her dress look like coarse body hair, but otherwise, the dress fits well. It’s form fitting and a little teacher-esque
