The best dressed stars at the 2012 CMA Awards took chances, but didn’t stray too far from the colorful gowns and classic suits one expects on country music’s biggest night. We liked that. Carrie Underwood only wore this gown for a few minutes, but she more than turned heads. The gold accents radiated off her beautiful blonde hair. It’s daring, but not dangerous. The 2012 CMA Awards’ co-host never lets fans down when it comes to red carpet fashion.
Hunter Hayes was the best dressed of the men on the 2012 CMA Awards red carpet. He sported a classic look, but it was a good fit, and a youthful haircut made him a standout at this and recent award shows. The ‘Wanted’ singer always seems comfortable in whatever he’s wearing — usually it includes sneakers.
Jana Kramer also took a risk with this plunging gown. It could have gone horribly wrong, yet the confident country newcomer proves she’s walked more than a few red carpets in her day. Chocolate is a perfect choice for this dark-haired beauty.
Lauren Alaina always looks like a princess, and this gown is no different. The strapless dress isn’t the only thing that earned her a spot on this CMAs Best Dressed list. The 18-year-old accessorized with a colorful necklace that made the gown more age-appropriate. A great look for Alaina, once again.
Taylor Swift always brings her own unique style to the CMAs red carpet. Red is an appropriate color for the superstar, but she wasn’t drowning in it at the 2012 show. Instead, a few crimson flowers danced along a golden gown. The whole thing just works for this Best Dressed star.

Tri-State Gives Moore Mediathon Raises $26,000 For Red Cross
May 22, 2013 6:30 PM A partnership between Eyewitness News, Townsquare Media, and the Evansville Courier and Press have made a big impact with the Red Cross. Wednesday from 6am-6pm, all the media outlets pooled their efforts to raise funds for victims of the Moore, OK tornado victims and with the help of Tri-State donors, we were able to raise $26,016 just in phone-in donations.
