2012 American Country Awards Worst Dressed Pictures

While a few stars dolled up for the 2012 American Country Awards on Monday night (Dec. 10), plenty of others went casual… too casual. The men on this list of the Worst Dressed at the 2012 ACAs all have denim in common, while the women who got our heads shaking chose daring dresses that looked stolen from the set of the next ‘Spider Man’ movie.
True, this Las Vegas-based awards show is more laid back than some other country music ceremonies, but there was a least a “sleeves required” dress code, wasn’t there? A pop star who was present makes the Worst Dressed list for a gown that looks torn from her grandmother’s curtains, while another singer skinned an alligator before hopping a flight to Sin City. See photo evidence of the fashion fails below.
Worst Dressed at the 2012 ACAs:
Jason Aldean came up with this dapper sport coat, which at first glance looks like black alligator scales. A closer inspection reveals that’s not the case, but his overall outfit still screams Crocodile Dundee on prom night.

Miranda Lambert borrowed from the superhero villainess line for her form-fitting gown at the 2012 American Country Awards. While the ‘Over You’ singer is normally a star who works the red carpet like a cowboy works the rodeo, her psychedelic pattern makes our head hurt.

Phoenix Stone gets the Hot Mess Award of the night for this collision of bad fashion ideas. It’s hipster-meets-cowboy-meets-out-of-work-Los Angeles-actor. Stone is holding a beer in a mason jar, which to us feels more like an accessory than something he’s nursing to get through the ceremony.

Natasha Bedingfield‘s outfit could be the death of Christmas. The yuletide colors cry Xmas (in Britain it must be XXXmas!), but her tree needs a little more color to complete the look. The gown hangs off her body like a pair of window decorations.

Colt Ford seems to have taken a time out from his Las Vegas camping trip to attend the 2012 American Country Awards ceremony. One wonders if he still smelled of burning embers or mosquito repellent when he walked the red carpet.
